A Strong Argument About Animal Rights Awareness
Animal rights awareness is important because it teaches us there is more than just taking advantage of animals. Animal rights are a very debatable topics because everyone has their own beliefs. However, there is some background knowledge on why humans think animals can be dangerous or get killed and here is why.
The most background knowledge that can lead to animal abuse/ cruelty is we've seen animals harm us in many ways and believe we should treat their lives differently for revenge. Humans sometimes don't like animals and just kill to raise millions, especially from their features. The most common background knowledge upon animal cruelty is animals attack us because they don't want us messing with their lives and families. If humans leave a lion's pride alone, the lions will most likely not attack.
Revenge and being rich is not the solution! Hunters need to look on an elephant's inside and notice how they interact with one another. If you look deep enough, you can see how rough it may be on their ways of survival. A polar bear cannot just go to a grocery store and buy seals. They have to hunt in order to provide milk for their cubs. The Arctic Circle also seems like a very harsh environment to live in because not many species live there and extreme weather. Polar bears do not have much luck with hunting because they are carnivores and catching their only meal seems difficult too.
There have been different wildlife events that have impacted animal rights too. The Great Migration and The Great Salmon Run have been some of nature's greatest events in history. The Great Migration was when African animals (elephants, lions, zebra, etc) had to leave their homes and travel in search for water. During the journey, plants started to die and heat is crucial to elephants' skin. So they use sand as a source of sunscreen. There wasn't much shade or food supply while trying to reach their way to the water. Sometimes calves had trouble keeping up or passed away from lack of food, mother's milk, and dehydration.
The Great Salmon Run is when grizzly/ brown bears had to learn how to catch fish that flew up stream. However, they had to wait a long amount of time and sometimes fight with the male bear on who gets their food. Cubs had the hardest time dealing with catching food. They also had to be careful because the male bear attacks cubs at young ages.
This is why animal rights awareness are important. It tells wildlife's point of view on what they go through. There are reasons why animals can attack us, but their rights still count as a part of nature's life. Hearing their stories on what they go through in order to survive seems incredible. While humans have proper food, shelter, sex, and water, these amazing animals only have their instincts and different skills in order to survive. Before taking action on wildlife, understanding their background might want to make you change your perspective on nature's greatest creatures.
"You can find this on Amazon prime and other channels. It used to be on Netflix, but not anymore. This show is a great way to understand what nature has gone through and getting wildlife's point of view. There are other great nature shows about our planet too."
